- I had a personal trainer and the fastest and best way to lose weight I found was to limit yourself to 1200 - 1300 calories a day, eat 3 - 4 times a day and within each of those meals limit your grams of sugar to 20grams per meal. Keep a food journal - it honestly works! That will get you to lose weight! BUT to lose weight faster, and tone up quick - exercise everyday. Lift weights 3 times a week and walk for atleast 30 minutes a day. Just remember, the more your exercise the more you lose! Good luck!
